About Load Mover
A Load Mover is a self contained, battery powered, walk behind piece of equipment used to move heavy loads in an industrial environment.
The Load Mover can be easily maneuvered through a production facility to accomplish a variety of tasks. The intended use of the Load Mover is to move heavy loads that are on wheels safely and with little effort. The Load Mover can push or pull product or a piece of equipment throughout the production floor to increase productivity in the product flow.
A walk-behind Load Mover has many advantages over a “sit behind the wheel” flatbed vehicle or a forklift:
- Has a smaller compact design.
- Can easily be maneuvered though tight places in a warehouse.
- Build and designed to push and pull heavy weight but not carry them.
- Operator is more in tune with their surroundings because they are closer to the obstacles and other personnel on the shop floor.
- Cannot go faster then the operator can walk. A 3 MPH pace is a fast walking clip to go through an industrial facility with other people and equipment.
- Operator will get a healthy walking exercise throughout the work day.
- Fits any size operator and promotes a comfortable walking posture.
- Can pull a train of carts at one time.
- Easy to operate and safer to use.
XTREME is capable of moving large loads of up to 50,000 lbs. that are on a wheeled cart. This is equivalent to 750 lbs. of push or pull capacity.
XTRA is capable of moving loads up to 20,000 lbs. that are on a wheeled cart. This is equivalent to 550 lbs. of push or pull capacity.
XPRESS is capable of moving loads up to 1,000 lbs. that are on a wheeled cart. This is equvalent to 250 lbs. Push.
